OK, you've heard the hype for months now... You've got to admit, this looks like the best damned thing to ever happen to blackjack.
WOW!

Thumbs up Ken - It is Fantastic for BJ players but I have 2 queries

When you and I first talked about going to Aruba, we agreed we would have to take $5,000 extra to pay our way into BOTH UBT Championships. However, the schedule seems to indicate only 1 UBT Championship on Tues Sept. 26 (although there seems to be 2 final Championship tables on Fri Sept 29)?

More important query is the very big conflict that seems to exist between UBT Championship table #2 and the Poker Championship Day 3.

This could be a major problem for people (like me) who are willing to pay the airfare and room as long as we have a chance to play in 2 UBT finals and 1 poker final.

Whom do I contact at Ultimate bet to find out answers or can you PLEASE find out the answers. I am in the midst of making my plane reservations from NOLA on American for 9/23. (Which flight did you book?)

Thanks for everything, Petie

Default Will all Tour stops follow a similar format?

Could I expect UBT France to have the same sort of tourney structure in terms of number of events, buy-ins, timetable, poker tourneys as Aruba?

Cheers

Reachy

If any one ever had a doubt about how serious UBT was in making 2006 the year of blackjack tournaments feast your eyes on this schedule.

Multiple blackjack tournaments all week long .There will be players able to play more tournaments in this week then some of us have been allowed to play in 1 year .

Let the games begin

Who needs narrow minded casino to host tournaments now.

I believe that both final tables may come from the same preliminary rounds. In other words, a single event will produce two final tables, and two champions. I could be wrong, but that sounds kind of familiar from a conversation I had a while back with someone involved.

If that's the case, then there's no conflict... They'll schedule the finalists as needed if they also make the poker final table.

Here comes my ignorance so bear with me.

These "other" BJ tourney's listed in red. There are outside of the main 2500 UBT tourney - got that one figured out. However, single table vs. 21 seat - I'm not sure what that is?

Is it like gloabl where a single table - 120 entry feel with just the 6 people competing against them selves? Sit n go? The 21 seat is that 3 tables of 7 in a multi-tourney like the Wednesday tourney at Global?

I know it may seem silly and basic but hey I don't know
