Why does Ultimate Bet...

keeps Bet21 as a skin, when they amalgamated the whole software to their own site (with different colors).

If they bought Bet21 with it's customer base, why not simply send an e-mail to Bet21 customers telling them that, from now on, they're Ultimate Bet customers and, as new owners, they will honor all terms and conditions agreed to under Bet21. If customer disagrees, they're invited to close their account before such and such a date at which time Bet21 will cease operations and that they're invited, if they wish, to open an account at Ultmate Bet to play EBJ (whatever the wording).

Is this a liability issue Is there a catch somewhere

Personally, the only reason I log on to Bet21 instead of UltimateBet is the set of colors for the EBJ software (I find the colors chosen by Ultimate Bet too bright).

 

But why not keeping it? There is probably no additional cost to keep a skin and the possibility remains a new player find the bet21 site first and download from there, isn't it the reason for having a skin?

 

Actually I think they keep the skin so they can have more excuses to not pay the promised deposit bonus money. I have actually had them use the excuse that "you signed up thru UB" (not true BTW) therefore Bet21 deposit promise does not apply.

Until they pay their debt due and promised both companies arent trustworthy and the pros hawking for them should be ashamed to associate their names with them. This is especially true of Russ Hamilton who should have the decency to intercede since he profited from selling franchise to these charlitans.

How can anyone trust anything started or run by this man given this past history of broken promise.

Further the Kenewake Gaming commission must be only a joke or facade to allow this behavior to continue.

Perhaps people dont mind being cheated...I do .

One needs to ask ones self why would any promise made by Club UBT be any more kept then past history indicates how serious honesty is taken by the principles.

I have had it with all these online EBJ companies...not one operates honestly or fairly....here is the latest amazing fact from CS at Bet 21.

I wish to close out my account there....I have less then 50 dollars in my account. They refuse to refund any amount under 50 dollars ..."because it is against our policy to do so"???? How about that one?

We all understand a deposit or withdrawl min but when closing an account thye intend to hold your money hostage if it is less then 50...

In fact they no longer offer penney table regular BJ although they have up the regular game max to 500 a hand...lol and morons actually play it???

So not only do they cheat us out of deposit bonus...they intend to keep any withdrawl amounts under 50 bucks.

Rambo i believe you are talking about promotion that is and always has been uder poker promotion on website, although recent software changes allow ultimatepoints for real cash blackjack play and future tournament blackjack enhancement turn into postive and will also have software changes to allow bonus.

Why don't Ultimate Bet, who seems to have bought Bet21, honour the promises made by the former owners to their customer base and respect the terms and conditions agreed to. If not, why Ultimate Bet did'nt so advise the customers of Bet 21 at the time of the purchase?

Perhaps it would help to explain the current status and the relationship between Bet 21 and UB. The glaring difference I see is in the regular BJ game...Bet 21 offers games where you can bet up to $500 dollars per hand....they use to offer the game for pennies per hand but that has dissappeared and now the min bet is 1 dollar.

As far as waiting 6 more months for a module update to allow paying promised deposit bounus...we have heard this before...several times in fact...My record of play can currently be reviewed....its a simple program it would seem that would allow calculation and payment of deposit bonus owed.
I have had the fact that they have added a disclaimer now stating that terms are subject to change pointed out to me before...

Personally that is meaningless concerning the initial sales pitch offered . You can tell every new potiential player the true terms but you need to pay the debt of the past promise of a deposit bonus.

For me it is simple....when I am payed my deposit bonus that I was promised then I will return....if that is 6 months or never then so be it. Sad really because I enjoy the game and I played often...

As for the poker section of the site...well I dont care for it for a number of reasons and they all deal with the slowness of the play...the game pauses too often to catchup the tables...,the blinds do not go up fast enough, there is way too much decision time for each player and this really slows the game down....etc...

Century Poker has a nice format and the game moves along at a nice clip...I have tried both side by side and UB's game plays so slow that it can be played as an afterthought beside Century.

So I aint getting no poker bonus dollars and I already earned my EBJ bonus dollars....just need someone to step up and pay their debt...(hint ...that would be you UB/Bet21)

I would love to see this game run controversy free and become the huge success. That starts with keeping promises made to your best customers.

But in addition to those two things, (since I been a big cheerleader for so long) the general software is glitchy. I'm tired of counting the advanced rounds and a few final tables were I wasn't able to be seated after continually logging in and trying every trick I could think of. I'd rather have a bad seat in the finals than looking at myself time out.

If you are not running a fairly up to date graphics card this software will be irksome.

The more you are doing at the same time...ie playing two games the worse it gets.

In case you missed it ....it helps a great deal to go into options after you have logged on to a game and turn off annimation and then save that change.
This speeds up your view and helps somewhat.

Best fix is a brandy new updated system ....or maybe just some brandy.

All very excellent points and advice, which I had learned and utilized on the regular(I guess) Ultimate Bet site, you know the yellow, beige, brown spicey mustard colored original site.

Interestingly don't recall ever having had a problem there, or one, even with my limited knowledge. I couldn't back door to re enter in time.


But of course on the original site I'm a fish contributor both in bj and poker. I get to play for hours only to come up short because of my own shortcomings.

But the history, for me, with the UBT(whatever NEW) site from the beginning was lose to the all in gonzos or get to a final table and disconnect or freeze up. And yet it continues with the NEW NEW NEW UBT site where the reward for the one in three successful attempts is to lock or freeze up, or be disconnected. Getting to the point, where I'll believe any conspiracy theory.

Or better yet, per your outstanding suggestion, Rando, I will just avoid the aggrevation, self humiliation, self doubt and angst and only avail myself to the rewards of the BRANDY and imagine the rest.

I have had some luck getting back top the game by logging completely out, rebooting and then hopefully its not too late.....
My last best guess would be to try removing the program completely and doing a re install...
