the info on the new UB loyalty program which includes a revamped ultimate points system and something called 'Raise' which is a monthly player status thing - states explicitly that blackjack, blackjack tournaments, and blackjack SNGs will earn both Ultimate Points and Raise status points. about time they recognized bj tournament and SNG play - none of your past play carries forward - but it looks as if regular players will be able to earn something, even in the smaller buy-in tourneys from now on
earning points and levels at UB the new UB loyalty program is letting us earn Ultimate Points and the new Raise points with EBJ tourney play for those interested, if you haven't alrready checked it out - there are five levels of players, based on the number of Raise points you earn each month, these are: Member 0 points needed Player 50 points Contender 500 points Legend 2,500 points Icon 10,000 points your Raise status lasts for one month - and is changed based on each month's play you earn ONE Raise point, and ONE Ultimate Point for each $0.30 of entry fee paid; so, if you play in a $15+$1.50 tourney, you will earn 5 Raise Points and 5 Ultimate points. for each Raise level you go up, you get an increased point multiplier for your Ultimate Points, these run from 1X for Member to 5X for Icon. so - if you are a Player level player - that $15+$1.50 will earn you 5 Raise points but 10 Ultimate Points. easy for any regulkr EBJ tourney playuer to get to the Player status - but Contender would require tourneys with a total of $1,500 in buy-ins (or more)and $150 in entry fees - Legend would require 5 times that. Looks as if regular tourney players will get the Player status, and, possibly Contender (if they play in a lot of higher entry fee tourneys) - but Legend and Icon will require substantial poker play at high limits. You can use Ultimate Points for tourney entries, and, if Contender or above, cash them out for real money.
That's a welcome improvement for sure. Though it seems like those points are not counting towards our bonuses cashing, even though I suppose the technical difficulties of that have been resolved.
Toonces! How dare you bring up those bonuses again! I'm going to BAN you to my IGNORE list!!!!!!
Bonus dollars Actually I think you can convert Bonus Dollars with your Ultimate Points - that has always been the issue - we couldn't earn Ultimate Points unless we played poker - now we can earn the Ultimate Points - so - if you can't convert - try contacting their customer support - shouldn't be a problem - unless they are having a software glitch
The footnote on the bottom of the help page says that bonus dollars are released in $5 increments. My understanding is that you either need to cumulate 100 Ultimate points if your status is "Member" or 200 Ultimate points if your status is "Player". Since we get the "Player" status after only 50 points, I guess we need to wait for 200 points. I should get there by Friday. Did you already reach 200 points?
status Your status shopuld only affect how fast you accumulate points, Player earns twice as fast as Member - shouldn't affect how many you need to cash out bonus dollars in poker games - they converted them immediately in whatever increment I earned - guess they changed that now - and you need to do $5 at a time
Negative. I asked the customer support and they confirmed that points earned by playing blackjack do not count towards the release of bonus money.
no bonus money for BJ points?? that's ridiculous - especially since they had to reprogram the software to give points for BJ, therefore - they had to deliberately program it to deny the use of bj points for redeeming bonus money no excuse this time - no pleading they needed to fix the software - they have simply decided to screw over the bj players we are clearly considered to be less then equal players on this site -
Explanation needed here from CS They went through all that trouble and expense to fix the software, but still deny us the bonus dollars we were originally promised. Not that I care much anymore about this petty scam but they keep reminding me everytime I click into My Account : $1315 bonus dollars are still pending :joker: Ridiculous, undoubtedly...But let's add the full gamut of synonyms : ludicrous, funny, droll, comical, farcical, silly, ludicrous, nonsensical, absurd, inconsistent with reason, illogical, irrational. ...and business wise, I can't see the logic either UltimabetBet, please talk to your BJ players. We are small in numbers, but we deserve better than total indifference to our concerns. Respectfully submitted
An update on bonus money --- after the CEREUS launch (and now that there are no more exciting scheduled blackjack tournaments), now playing blackjack tournaments (SNG or scheduled) DOES count for the release of bonus money, on Ultimate Bet and Absolute Poker. This is no big deal - you get $5 each time you buy-in for a total of approximately $300. In fact, the bonus money amount is an illusion in a sense that it useless to have a large amount. Instead, I see it as a discount on the tournament fee: you pay a fee of around 8% instead of the usual 10%, as long as you have at least $5 of bonus money in your account (which can be reloaded any time with a deposit anyway). Better than nothing. There is one thing I don't like at all in the new account history page: you can't see the history of your buy-ins but only the history of your wins! This is dumb. Like they want us to believe we never lose.
Tracking table you can set the options to automatically save hand histories of the tables you play. This lets you have a track of all tables/tournaments played. Since the tables are tittled, including the buy-in amount - that gives you the same info as the old account histories did. Also, can, of course, go back and look at actual play; that's a nice feature.
I agree that the log of hand history is a very nice feature. However, my point about the account history is this... suppose I want to know how I did during the last week, I need to: 1- Go to the account history, select Wins, and compute the sum "A" of all wins displayed. 2- Go to the hand history, figure out all the files that are less than 1 week old, find the buy-in in the name of all those files and compute the sum "B" 3- Compute "A" - "B" I'm not saying it is very difficult to do, but I expect that an account history would show me at a glance the fluctuation of my balance like any bank account statement would do, without the need to figure it out manually.
Bonus Dollars I'm not sure when they started paying bonus dollars for BJT but it has actually been quite a while now. I have received 80 of my 300 bonus dollars to date. It is a VERY slow process. I noticed several months ago that I started to get paid based on my BJT play. Most of the time I actually miss seeing the payment. They show it on the pop up that is displayed when you're eliminated. I have also had 2 months where I reached contender status in the Raise Bonus Point system, which has allowed me to cash my ultimate point for cash as well. Jon
Interesting, because I just got told by email support that blackjack does not count and at http://www.ultimatebet.com/poker-rewards-loyalty-program/bonus-dollars it says "Points earned via BJ will not count towards Bonus $ conversion". Are you sure you're getting paid for blackjack? Have you played any poker at all?
Ultimate points for cash I can't speak to the bonus dollars, as I played enough poker to cash mine out before they started allowing bvj and tbj to count - but do remember they said bj and tbj would count for bonus dollars several months ago. Also - bj and tbj do count for Raise points status, and I have cashed out Ultimate points for cash.
