Jonny, that usually happens at an Ignace, Meskwaki, or (now) Soo tournament on Sunday nights. It's like a college frat poker night, hootin' and hollerin' and putting a serious dent in their beer supply. One time we even did that at Iggy with a 25-cent roulette table. If you ever see that going on, belly right on up to the table and grab a seat. Anyone's welcome as long as they're there for a good time! You should have seen the things we did with a can of Monkey Butt Powder one night. At a BJ table. PARTY FOUL!
Obviously I won't be at this Iggy to be The Instigator but I'm sure all of you will carry on just fine.

Default Sounds fun!

These "after the event" parties are getting popular with you guys------think I'll try to participate in one of them in the future.

Default Better odds?

It's starting to look like more favorable odds next week at Iggy-------smaller field with same guaranteed prizes as always. Along with that, I know at least 3 of the strongest regulars won't participate this time (Lefty, Angel Run and Schultzy)--------NOW if I can get 125 more people to stay home, old Billy C has a chance!

Gimme a break, Billy! Haven't you made the last 3 straight Kewadin final tables?

It's not the 140 field players that have your number, it seems to be the other 6 in the finals!

No, last TWO final tables but 4th and 6th place finishes are less than desired in somewhat toploaded purses.
Hey CP----would be nice to see you there. I will miss seeing several of the other regulars and hope they all can make the October tournament.

I just called and left Deann my info. I believe she still had a few spots left. I figure it will be easier for me to play in August as opposed to October with school on. That way I can stay over on Sunday night and hang out with everyone and party! Hopefully I will see you all there!

Default Report

I was there this weekend for a tourney and was shocked to find that all table games close at 1.30 am on WEEKENDS I had thought they remained open until 3.30 am, but not so.

I also had my food coupons but found the "buffet" so poor that I just ordered off the menu. This had to be the worst buffet I have ever seen in a casino, what a dissapointment. The crab legs could not have been smaller and the Prime Rib was not pink but red throughout. And the pop, no Pepsi and no Coke,,,RC Cola brands only......
And still the shortage of BJ tables open.

All things considered the Soo is the only place I will ever do tourneys at again.

The 2 BJ tourneys at the Soo in 2011 will be in warm weather months, June and September I believe. Saw the list yesterday.
