This tournament was a Super-Mini event, created and administered by Rick Jensen and held at Fitzgerald's in downtown Las Vegas. The entry fee was $540, and the event filled up at 54 players. $1200 went to Fitzgerald's for their services, and Texas Tournaments collected $240 in fees, leaving a prize pool of $27,720.
The format had 2 players advancing from the first round, and also from the semifinals. Each round was 30 hands, with betting in $10 increments from $10 to $200. Bankrolls were $500 non-negotiable chips. The game was six decks, the dealer hit soft 17, double after split and late surrender were allowed.
