Their will be Online Qualifiers for this event with the schedule at the bottom of this post, I have been appointed Tournament Consultant for this event and welcome any Input(preferably positive!. Weekly Qualifiers to Offline Final - Explained. Minimum two (2) seats guaranteed in each Weekly Qualifier (minimum 8 players required for each Weekly Qualifier to start). Film and production: Three cameras used at live event: One on shoe, one on table, one on players faces. Footage will be converted for web distribution into twelve five-minute episodes
Sounds promising. I'd more or less given up on the idea that GameAccount were going to promote a live BJ tournament. Any word on how the live format will differ from the online? (The GA game has a few quirks which I doubt will be carried over.) Will entry into the 'warm-up' tournament be via a direct entry fee? If it's going to be limited to 32 players, to mimic the main event, it might be prudent to buy an entry before the day itself.
I am currently In miami about to board a cruise for a week, But will work with you and GA when I get back to get as many quirks out. Nice to see Gameaccount taking a serious position on BJT with a Gurantee prizepool of £25,000 ($40,000) making it one of the strongest open events in Europe for some time.
