Iron Horse Casino @ Auburn hosts 10K tournament every first Thursday of the month starting at 7pm - 5K for first place / 2K for second / $1K for 3rd, etc.- all seven finalists get paid. Double-deck, 14 hands. $100 buy-in / $100 rebuy. Well run. Max players 63. All other Thursdays are 5K tournaments - $2500 for 1st - $50 buy-in / $50 rebuy. Mon-Tue-Wed's are $2100 tournaments - $1100 for 1st - $30 buy-in / $30 rebuy. Sun is their industry tournament at 5:00 - public $30. There's also a PaiGow tournament on Sundays - time? IH is pretty much the only good tournament in the area. We used to have such a wealth of tournaments in the NW, you could play nine a week if motivated. Most of the local card rooms were bought up and they discontinued tournaments. Alas! Tulalip and other tribal joints apparently aren't interested in hosting tournaments. There's also a Tuesday tournament at Emerald Downs Race Track and Casino. I think it starts at 10pm. Some play IH at 7pm and shoot over to ED for a 'double-header'

Played in tournament, not place, this is a fine casino no slots, all tables, they treated me great, the players are all local and know what they are doing since the have several tournaments a week only 1 big per month. They have a good 2 deck game that paid for my trip.
I came from Springfield Mo. I hope to come back, but not soon. Have tournaments at Biloxi and Buffalo Run scheduled until May.
