I just installed Windows 7 on my computer. When I try to run CASINO VERITE BLACKJACK SOFTWARE (and CV Data) I get a message from Microsoft that Windows 7 eliminated a program that existed on previous versions of Windows. That program is used by Casino Verite. Microsoft will download a copy of the needed program but they say it is not tested and could cause a problem with Windows 7. So I don't want to do that. Seems to me that Casino Verite's reputation will be damaged if their software does not run on Windows 7. Does anyone, Ken Smith in particular since he sells Casino Verite, know when Casino Verite will be updated to run on Windows 7?
CVBJ / Data /CX These are all supported on Windows 7 for the latest versions which is 5 and for all packages. Qfit also has a forum for the software for more hints. I have it installed on both Vista and W7 without incedent but I installed new on the platforms and not upgraded the Operating System. The cert may not be registered with MS but it can be trusted. Check the forum too cuz version 6 CVBJ is coming out and Norm is looking to add tournament play back in and wouldn't mind some hints and suggestions. ee
Thanks. I am running version 4 which seems to be outdated and is apparently the reason for failure to run on Windows 7. For Ken Smith, are you selling version 5 of Casino Verite and CV Data? Your web site only lists version 4 of Casino Verite.
Ah thanks for the heads up. The CDs I receive from the publisher are the latest version. I need to update the wording on the store.
