If you have received emails with private conversation notifications, you will have noticed that until today those emails have included the entire message that you received. There's one problem with this approach. If you're not paying attention, it's very easy to assume that you can just reply to the email to send a response in the conversation. Instead, if you reply to that email, your reply is sent to me as the server administrator, and not to the conversation participant. I don't want to receive portions of conversations that are "private" and not intended for me. Therefore, I have changed the setting to no longer include the message text in the notification email. Instead, the email message will show that you need to log in to read the message. I made the same change to thread and forum subscription emails, because they could be similarly confusing.
