DoylesRoom.com is giving online poker players the opportunity to face poker legend Doyle Brunson in a big money heads-up online cash game. The poker site concludes its Summer Series of Freerolls with a no buy-in $25,000 Grand Finale event, where the winner will play poker legend Doyle Brunson for an additional $25,000. The Grand Finale Freeroll will take place at 8.30pm (7.30pm GMT) on Wednesday September 19th, and players can register at DoylesRoom.com. Entry to the freeroll requires that players play 25 raked hands (minimum 25 cents in rake) in the ten days before registering for the tourney. The winner of the Finale Freeroll will win the first place prize money and go forward to a heads-up match against Doyle Brunson on September 30th for an extra $25,000. Is this for real? I ask this because I'm not a poker player and I wasn't sure about this so I wanted to ask some of our experienced poker player members what they thought about this? Speaking of poker what is the best online poker site that you would recommend?
Fred , Try Century Poker. Its fairly new and while many of the free rolls are over there are still some 300 and others. Its a good game compared to Bet21/UB...which is painfully slow. Nice site and not too many players yet. I played a free roll at bet 21 poker and 4500 signed up for 10 dollar first place...lol Century is a nice format.
