got my flyer from the Palace , offers for May ,,OR when they open might be awhile before I go anywhere,,no guts no blue chips
I reserved a spot on seashore for my motorhome 15-16-17 hope to be able to play at Palace and Hardrock if they open Mississippi up by then. Figure motorhome is safer than hotel room.
Spoke with Host today. Palace May BJT cancelled. August is still on their calendar but that could change and she will let me know if it does. I’ll post more if I get further information. If anyone gets status of the Hard Rock I’m sure folks on here would appreciate a post. No guts here neither George. I won’t be there.
The Palace called me a few days ago and said that their Blackjack tournament in May is now cancelled, and my entry is cancelled at this time. Other players I know, have also been called & their hotel room reservations at Palace and also their BJ tournament entry has been cancelled. Possible opening of the tournament before Mid-May is doubtful, but if they do they would notify me. Don't know about Hardrock, but I bet they will not be having tournament. I'm sure because players would be seated too close to one another at tables. However, I think it would be possible for some casinos to open, if they only opened some slot machines, not tables. I could see this maybe happening. Before shutdown, a casino near me shut off every other slot machine to help distance players. If they turned off 2 machines next to one another, it may space out players about 6ft. apart. That casino was also closing in the evening & cleaning/sanitizing their slot machines nightly. I could see this possibly because the slots are better than tables for their income. Just a thought.
Damn! Terrible news....... was really looking forward to hitting up both Biloxi tourneys with one stone for the 1st time too!
