1. If there are 38 numbers in Roulette 0,00, 1 to 36, why are the payouts 36 times the amount bet, and not 38/

2. On betting black or red, why are you paid out 100 percent instead of 102.7 percent, due to the green factor/

3. If the player is going to lose in the long run due to the house edge, why do winning players get backed off/ why not just go along with the myth and let them play until they lose/

I assume that these questions are rhetorical.

I’m just waiting for the link to a video that will show us all his new system to beat double zero roulette.

These are just questions that have occured to me as I am learning to play the game. It requires a bit of critical thinking.

The reason I call them 'forbidden' questions, is because the lie has been perpetrated for so long, that some people appear to be gatekeepers in order to keep the casinos in business.

What lie is that? I think the house edge is well understand by the majority of players.
If a player goes into a casino expecting the game to pay the actual odds, I would consider that pretty naive.

By the way, the actual break even odds on a double zero roulette game would be 37:1, not the 38:1 you mentioned.

If there were only 1-36, the odds would be 36 to 1. Seeing that there are a 0 and 00, the odds are 38 to 1, but the payout is not 38 times the amount that is bet.
Another thing that people don't realize is the contract aspect of gambling. When they place bets on a roulette table, they are entering into a contract with the casino by agreeing to accept the winning amounts that are offered........no matter how much underpaid those offers are in relation to the true odds.

There are 38 numbers, and you bet straight up on one of them. Fair odds are 37:1, because there are 37 losers vs 1 winner.

A better example for you perhaps. Let's flip a fair coin. There are 2 sides. If I use your argument for roulette, you should pay me 2:1 for my correct choices. I'll bankrupt you quickly.
Fair odds for betting on a coin are 1:1, because there is 1 winning side and 1 losing side.

I would agree that these questions should go back to being forbidden

Yes, there are 38 numbers, but the payout is not 38 times the amount on a straight up bet. That's the point I am trying to make. Just like the black/red bet is paid 2 times the amount, because the green factor is not put into it. The payouts are underpaid according to the color factors.

And I’m out.

What's your point? Unless you have additional information and skills, every single bet in the casino, with the exception of the odds bet in craps is underpaid. That's how they make their money.

My point is that the house edge is more of an illusion than they want you to know.
