The moment is almost here. The Wheel Of Fortune episode I taped back in November is scheduled to air next Monday, January 9, 2006. Look for the guy with a beard who acts like he just left happy hour.:joker: Hope you enjoy it. I had a blast the entire time. Ray
Today is the day so I bumped this up to a more prominent spot. I know this question will come up so I will go ahead and answer it. Yes, I am just as goofy as I acted on the show. :joker: Feel free to laugh.
Nice showing Ray! I think the only way you could have won it is to kick Susan in the shin during the last Toss-Up puzzle. You had to be thrilled to see that 'Montgomery & Tuscaloosa Alabama' puzzle come up. Nothing like a little home-field advantage at times like that. Picking up more than $10K for second place wasn't a bad payday at all. Congrats!
Thanks Ken. I think I might take a vacation this summer and spend part of it "Learning How To Sail". Actually, what I am kicking myself in the tail about is the "Chicken Little" toss-up puzzle. Blowing the Learning How To Sail puzzle was due to a brain-drain on my part but the correct answer to Chicken Little popped into my head after two letters _ _ _ _ _ E N _ _ _ _ _ _ . I had just solved the first toss-up and at least 6 letters had come up before I buzzed in. Therefore, I figured I could safely wait on that third letter to be sure about the puzzle. Susan must have been doing the same thing and out-reflexed me to take the win. If I had buzzed in when it popped into my head, I would have gained $2,000 and she would have had $2,000 less. That 4K swing would have given me a total of $12,300 to her total of $12,100. Of course, the entire game would have been altered due to the wheel spinning order being changed but I would have won in that more simplistic universe I reside in. Anyway, thanks for watching. The entire experience was about as much fun as anything I have ever done.
Swings Swings on Wheel Of Fortune ,you have to love it.Blackjack Tournament lingo on a non Blackjack show
Swings: Hey Norm! Speaking of swings and players being barred and all.....I just heard of the showing of how the "home deliveryguy :figured out the random computer pattern on "whammy," and walked away with over 100k. No one else had won more than 5 or 6 before. For all those interested in books: He knew the pattern the lights would go, but he still had to time it just right. There were a couple of instances when he didn't and he was looking awfully down at having only won a trip to Bermuda, instead of the big money, by avoiding his Whammmy. Just shows to goya, throw enough garbage at the wall and a fresco is bound to appear.
