New and facinated !

Hi all, this is my first ever online thread. I love Black Jack, am a reader of BJ book's and am a pretty decent casino player. I am looking to getino tournament BJ but have no idea where to start. I'm based in Bournemouth but am happy to travell to games. Haven't played online either, I enjoy the live feel of my puntting. Any ideas for coaching etc to set me up before I play a live game ? I'm a strong player at the tables who enjoy's contolling the areana of play and I am certain TBJ would suit me down to the ground.

I prefer to have someone of the other sex enjoy the live feel of my puntting but please tell me your definition of puntting.

Are you saying gambling and puntting are synonymous?
You'll find many answers to your questions by searching posts to this forum.
Several knowledgable and helpful individuals contribute to it.

Punting is synonymous with Gambling "across the pond." Sort of like their Football is our Soccer.

Harrybull - Billy was right, do some searching thru this site. It's the best source for BJT info anywhere.

I hope the guy didn't think I was trying to give him a bad time as I wasn't familiar with that term.
The "suit me down to the ground" line is a new one for me, too. I like that one and might use it myself.
Hope he uses the forum and gives me some more like that.

Not at all, to be honest i am buzzing that this forum exists, i am a bit of a luddite so it's going to take me a while to learn where what is on this forum. I down loaded Some stuff from Ken Smiths site and read it last night. gave me a good insite into basic stratergy. Guess I need to be buying a couple of books and get online to hone up. Is there any specific BJT training software and a good online free play site to get me started / Cheers all.:joker:

Thats basic tournement stargery, casino play I'm a bit of a vet.

 

I believe UB(ultmatebet) still hold freerolls but for $19 a month http://www.clubuwin.com/ (formerly clububt) holds many with prizes, won't say that most of the prizes are that easy to win due to number of entries but for a fixed price a month could make for good training before venturing into buy in type games.
