Hitting the malls on the day after Thanksgiving not your idea of fun?
    Here's an alternative:

Play a freeroll Texas Hold'em tournament at Caribbean Sun Poker room. They're an online poker room run by the same folks that run Sands of the Caribbean, a long-time casino recommendation of mine.

    Here's the deal:
The tournament is Friday Nov 26th, at 7:30 PM EST.
Just visit the site, install the software, and register for the event at least 24 hours in advance. There's a limit of 500 players, so sign up sooner rather than later.

    Sunpoker tournament

Well I sign up for their tournament today with no problem. When I went back online tonight for the tournament they didn't have anyway of know what table you were on except to go table by table.

When I finally found my table I had missed a few hands and sat down to play only to find that I couldn't. I contacted they're customer service who didn't have a clue what was going on all just keep wanting to talk (while I was missing hands). Finally they transfered me to Tech support, (that was a joke) two women there couldn't understand what was going on either.

It took me over ten minutes to get them to realize they had a freeroll tournament going on. They wanted to agrue with me that they're wasn't one going on (dumb-ass). They told me to disconnet from Sun poker and re connet so I did then I couldn't connet back. One of the Tech support ladies said she didn't know why and then told me "O your were playing in a freeroll tournament, so souldn't have disconneted".

Then she went on to tell me I have told her I was playing a freeroll! Well after go off on the stupid #$%(^) I had it. I tried going back again to the site only to find out I was out after 20 minutes of (non play).

The site might be a good one, but their staff SUCKS! I asked to talk to a manager and she asked me why, she was talking to me.

    Bummer

Yuck! I'll make sure my contacts there know this was badly mishandled. Sorry for the trouble.

You'd think holding a freeroll would be a great way to introduce players to a poker room. But if they're going to screw up the whole thing, they've accomplished just the opposite of what they intended.

    Thanks Ken

The site was great and eazy to down load. It was the customer service and Tech support that that was the problem, they didn't know what they were doing and that cost me not getting to play.

    I going to tell

Everyone you trained me joep...LOL. After my play I can't say much about catching hell, only I'm glad it didn't cost me. If I would have lost that hand I may have just shot myself...LOL.
