Ya, love those pizzas

I guess the cat’s out of the bag. What’s not generally considered is this: How else can we be the “city of broad shoulders” if we’re not the fattest? Kind of goes hand in hand.

We have Mayor Daley who can shed a few pounds if he wanted to, but he doesn’t. Now I ask: Why should we loose weight if he doesn’t. He’s our idle, our mentor, he’s THE MAN. We certainly don’t want to make him look bad, now do we?

I could afford to loose a little, maybe 10-15 pounds but how does one do that? Gotta watch TV – you know, the Bears, The White Sox, and of course the Cubbies (not to mention Desperate Housewives). And PIZZA – who in their right mind is willing to give that up. Yes, we eat more pizza then New Yorkers simply because it’s better. Of course we pay with our waistline, that’s the price you pay for having the best pizza in the country.

Of course let’s not forget Las Vegas. #2, up from #9. That’s quite a jump. Must be all those BJ dealers standing all day, you don’t get much exercise dealing bad cards all day.

Ya we may be the fattest, but damn, we’re also the happiest. If it cuts a few years off our lives, at least it’s a happy life – you know, enjoying all those pizzas.

Gotta go now. My pizza omelet breakfast is ready.:laugh:

 

lol I remembered when Philly was #1. They actually had campaigns after that for people to lose weight!!! lol... Maybe Chicago will do the same.
