Tunica Tournaments?

I'm looking forwards to the glorious day Ken adds a tournament calendar to this site, but until then, help me out if you have any information on Blackjack tournaments large or small in Tunica. Here is all that I know of:

Weekly Tournaments​

Sam’s Town Tunica BJ Tourn. Register. 5 p.m., play at 7 p.m.. Entry $25. 1st prize $1000, 2nd $500, top 8 get cash, 8th $25.00. 3 rounds. Limited to 108 spots. 2 players advance, 1 from semifinal round. Finals are 2 tables of 5 players each, top 8 get prizes. BJ pays 2:1, no DAS.

Major Tournaments​

Bally's Tunica $125,000 Ultimate BJ Tournament, Sept. 24-26 (every Jan., April, & Sept.)
$500 entry fee includes two-nights hotel stay banquet and a gift. Last time: 280 players. First Place $60,000, 2nd $25,000. Sign up early - register by calling 800-38BALLY ext. 1511

Grand Tunica $100,000 Sizzlin’Hot Blackjack Tournament Nov. 12 $500 buy-in (I don't remember where I heard about this, details are welcome if you got 'em!)

Gold Strike Tunica November Nov. 19-21 (& mid-May)

You have all the mini's listed but one: Isle Of Capri-Lula (30 minutes south of Tunica) Pre- registration will begin at 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM in the front entrance of Coral Reef. Tournament play will begin at 6:00 pm each Tuesday. Finals will be held on the last Tuesday night of the month. Minimum bet is $100, maximum bet is $2,000.00. Should a player make a bet above the maximum, the bet will be taken or paid to $2,000.00 Twenty-five hands will be dealt each round. While still in the game all hands must be played. The game will begin at “natural” first base: a rotating marker will be used to determine the dealing and betting order. The marker will designate the player at the first base position. There is a $20.00 entry fee required to participate. In the case of a dispute, the decision of the Table Games Manager will be final. These are on Tuesday, 1st pays $1,000, 2nd $500, 3rd $300. The 1 thru 7 places come back to play the finals with same payout. This seem geared more for the locals who can come back for the finals.

Limited to 108 spots. 2 players advance, 1 from semifinal round. Finals are 1 tables of 7 players each, top 7 get prizes. BJ pays 2:1, no DAS, 1 wildcard into final table.​

There is also a 3 card poker tournament on Tuesday at Sam's Town same format as the Blackjack except first pays $1250. And there are also mini slot and video poker tournaments. But POKER seems to the "in" thing in Tunica as there are an average of 5 tournaments daily with entry fees from $20 to $200.​

 

Road weary

I guess I need to go to Tunica as well (again). I'm only home about 7 days a month as it is now? Does this ever end?
