Worst tournament I ever played in... Swog and I along with two Durant locals played in the first tournament a couple of years back. It is without a doubt the worst format and rules for any tournament I've ever played in. The $20 entry and guaranteed $1,000 first place caught our attention and we thought it might be worth the two hour drive, WE WERE WRONG! Until playing this event, I always thought the Comanche Red River had the worst format (located about a mile up the street). Sadist part of this is that with the players pools these two Oklahoma add to their tournaments if they offered better format and rules they could be some of the best blackjack tournaments ever offered anywhere. The TD and staff for the first tournament didn't know how many players to advance and how may tables and players per table after the first round. I happen to over hear them discussing the problem and ended up helping them, all in all pretty sad. Yet when I made suggestion how to improve the tournaments management didn't want outside help, I was told they could handle it themselves.
