Venetian/Palazzo and CET Las Vegas properties seem to be carrying the torch in getting blackjack tournaments going again. The Bally's $150k blackjack tournament February 26-28 is now listed. This and the Harrah's tournament are the first $150k tournaments since the casinos re-opened with strict Nevada Covid-19 guidelines. It remains to be seen, but play will almost certainly be with 3 players per table through all rounds and the total participants will probably be fewer.
How much was the tournament where you chopped first? How did they work it out to only 3 players in final table... 3 semi tables of only 3 ppl with 1 advancing? Seems too easy❗ Also how was attendance and how much was rebuy?
When did you receive tournament details on this one? I also got the invite but still haven't received detailed info❗
I called my host... and in the future you should call yours to get the most up-to-date and accurate information.
I dont want to bother him when CET will eventually email me the details of tournaments anyway. I just thought that they had already emailed you the details like they did for the January $150k.
So who else aside from Dakota and johnr is playing in this $150k next weekend??? Surely there's gotta be more BJT'ers!
Has anybody received any details about any of the CET blackjack tournaments??? I just saw yesterday in my offers that I have been invited to the $75K Tournament at Flamingo in March, but have not received an e-mail. I do not have a host, so can't reach out that way. Would love to see the details of these tournaments!!!
No information yet on the Flamingo 75,000 tournament. The preliminary notices are sent via "My Total Rewards" on-line and are sent well ahead of the tournaments. Detailed information either on-line or by mailer (or both) are not sent until just 3 weeks or so before the tournament. Also, I just received skimpy preliminary notices that the Venetian has two $50,000 blackjack tournaments: February 28-March 2 and April 4-6. Also a $100,000 blackjack tournament March 19-21 at the Venetian. I will post details when available.
Yup.... CET likes to take their time before the send out the detailed email of events. Just this weekend I got 2 "reminder" emails telling me not to forgot to play in the $150k BJ & slot tourney (taking place at the same time) even though I've long registered along with my wife in the $150k.
So how did you do? Did you get past the 1st round unlike me, my wife, Dakota, JohnR, & sky? Or did you also get stuck here like all of us?
Would be interested to hear if there is more than 3 per table for this tourney, since they have put up the plexiglass shields.
I was the only BJTer at the Bally's tournament and managed to get past the first round, but luck took a hike on me in the quarter-final round. There were 3 players per table and no barriers between players.
