Since there appears to be some interest in Las Vegas tournaments, I have added 9 new tournament listings. Seven are in Las Vegas, 1 in Reno plus the IP in Biloxi.

In the future I will post any such tournaments which I receive information on. Some are larger tournaments and almost all are invitational. However, it never hurts to make a telephone call to ask if an entry is possible. Always make sure to speak with Special Events, VIP Services or a casino host.

I called the Orleans and the April 23rd blackjack tournament is definitely on. I have also added tournaments at the LINQ in Las Vegas and the Hard Rock in Lake Tahoe to our tournament schedule. Tentatively scheduled is a $50,000 blackjack tournament May 13-15 at the Beau Rivage and will be added to the schedule when they confirm. Good cards everyone!

Derek at Orleans(special events director) told me to pound sand. Invite only specific to Orleans, he said. Overall Boyd's play didn't matter. He was upset IT was all over the internet. I could for $500.00 buy in to an upcoming Keno tournament. Just FYI.

No surprise there. I tried to get in one based on some pretty significant video poker play at Orleans and was told the same thing. Got a pretty significant amount of attitude from whoever was on the phone, too.
