I have added 2 tournaments to the schedule: The Venetian ($50,000) January 18-20, and Paris ($150,000) February 22-24. As with most tournaments anymore, these are invitational. However, it's always worthwhile to talk with Special Events, VIP Services or a host to try for an entry.
Here is additional information regarding the Paris Las Vegas 150K blackjack tournaments. In the past, either 1 or 2 players advanced from first round tables. I was told that if there are 750 or fewer entrants (not including re-buys), 2 advance. More than that and only 1 advances, but that"these numbers are flexible". The trade-off is that if 2 advance from the first round, the next round is also limited to 2, rather than the (sometimes) 3. No matter what the scenario, this is still a good tournament and places 7-48 get $2000. To take liberties with a quote from Forrest Gump: "Paris tournaments are like a box of chocolates... you never know what you are going to get"!
