Hey! Hate to put a pall on anybody's parade....But, for a relatively newcomer, after a 25 year absence(one who missed some great opportunities), it seems we've, you've, whomever, have dropped into the dark ages of B.J.

The recent demise of B.J. Confidential Magazine....Arnold Snyder (of all) "Ripping" B.J. Forum, web and quarterly, after all these years....

Is it a sign that table B.J. is an exercise in futility, given,(you all know the changes to counter the smarts), which belatedly, I have learned, but cannot exercise?

Hom ever! Stay with me! The days of taking a red to extreme may be over. But you know (euphemistically) there was never a way a red chipper was going to reach $10,000...$20,000..$30,000...or more in a single run.

Yet, there is a proliferation of tournaments that allow a very "new" skilled player to garner a great pay day for minimal investment, without heat, without fear!

Tournament B.J. may expose the experts to casino personnel, but given, "it's other player's money"....casinos...don't, or shouldn't care. and the best of the best, in so many ways can and should make more. Fame. Fortune. Book deals! More than ever before. And all up front!

This is a transition stage. If B.J. tournaments disappear, then it's to craps or video poker or Master Wong's sports betting.

    But, darn...as J. wike proclaimed..."B.J. is America's game"

Long live B.J. (if it's beatable.)

And if not, then someone will figure out how to beat super fun 21!

    Or.......we all retire.
