So I really like the color scheme, but one thing comes to mind... KNOCKOFF. Hmm looks EXACTLY like that other site, Ultimate Bet. Why play at one versus the other? Maybe its just me but I am curious?

    No worries, mate...

our fearless leader Ken will be posting something a little later today/tomorrow with all the details for bjt.com members & how they can take advantage of some great freebies with Bet21, but as a sponsored member of Bet21, let me address this point since its bound to confuse some people:

UltimateBet is actually a mirror skin of Bet21, so that means that players logged in to either site have access to the same sit-n-gos and other tournaments. What this does is keep the player pool much higher, which benefits everybody since there are shorter wait times for events to start & higher prizepools in the bigger tournaments. It also means that if a friend of yours is logged on through UB, you can still kick his ass from your Bet21 account!

As far as the benfits to using Bet21, well, that's easy. Freeroll tournaments to land on UBT television shows... free seats to the St Kitt' s Classic this October... huge deposit bonuses... its truly awesome. But i don't wanna get ahead of myself -- Ken Smith has all the particulars for BJT members & all the special bonuses available for new accounts, which he'll share with you soon!

Rock on & see you at the tables...

Thanks Dave. And yes, further information is imminent in this regard.

    Slightly Confused....

    ....or maybe really confused.

A few weeks ago I signed up with Ultimate Bet (UB) and made a deposit thru Neteller that was matched with bonus moneu by UB. It is my understanding that the bonus money can only be used for poker. I'm getting ready to sign on to Bet21 thru Ken's link. When I make my first Neteller deposit I believe I will also get match money. If I'm on the right sheet of music, this bonus money will be good for blackjack tourneys. Am I thinking straight or really confused? Somebody please set me straight. Signed Mr. Naivety

Yes, that is my understanding. Bet21 allows you to convert bonus money by playing blackjack tournaments.

if you have an UB.com account - you don't need a BEt21 account- they are the same - you can play on Bet21 with your UB account - I am doing so right now

Interesting. Do you get Bet21 points and such? I think one would lose out on some benefits by using a UB account at Bet21.

    True.

I thought the same thing originally, but.....

...the more you think about it's a better idea to make a new account with Bet21 giving the reference to this site or Kenny's site or whichever site you want to support. That way they get credit for it and can keep these sites up.

Just my 2 cents on it.

    ??

As far as I have seen - the sites are identical - except for the color schemes and names - I just came in fourth in the 12:00 AM $5 tourney - (REK1744 on UB and BET21) - using my UB account and playing through Bet 21 site - don't know about the points and bonuses - I didn't see anything about the October qualifiers for the UB TV tourneys or anything about freerolls at UB - but they are mentioned at Bet21 - don't know if you can play them without a BET21 account? - if getting something for the Bet21 account - worth doing maybe - give Ken some vig on it

    Bet21 or Ultimatebet?

Supporting Ken and his advertising is important. Ken, is the difference this?
UBT is giving a seat all expenses paid to Aruba..and Bet 21 is giving a seat to final table in Hollywood by way of $100,000 free roll. Is this the way we are to understand the 2 sites? Which are exactly the same-servers,players, money etc.

    Bet21 Support

Below is a response I received from Bet21 when I asked them about bonus dollars and points. When playing on Bet21 from my Ultimate Bet account I'm not accumulating any points or using bonus dollars. Does anybody know if I need to set up a separate account with Bet21 and then have to play under 2 different screen names (one for each account). I'm thinking, maybe, I'll have to set up a new account with Bet21 and close the other one. It seems to me it would be more advantagoes to play under Bet21. I appreciate Bet21's quick response but I'm more confused then when I started. HELP

    Dear Sir/Madam ,

Bonus dollars are one of the currencies we use at UltimateBet. When a player is eligible for a bonus (such as initial deposit bonus), we credit the bonus amount in bonus dollars.

Your bonus dollars balance will display in the "My Account" section of UltimateBet. You will see this balance decrease as you play at real money raked tables or when you register at our real money scheduled tournaments and/or real money Sit and Go tourneys.

Bonus dollars are automatically converted into real money based on points earned while playing at our RAKED REAL MONEY TABLES ($.02/.04 or higher stakes).

For example, when you leave one of these tables you will be:

    1) Credited 10 ultimate points.
    2) Debited 1 bonus dollar.
    3) Credited 1 real dollar.

Bonus dollars can also be earned back in increments of less than $1. So if you earn 8 points during a play session, your real money account will be
credited with $.80 from your pending bonus dollars account.

Furthermore, for every 30 Ultimate Points you earn when you register at our REAL MONEY Sit 'n Gos and/or REAL MONEY Scheduled Tournaments your account will be credited with $1 from your pending bonus dollars.

Points earned playing at the playchip or Ultimate Point tables do not count towards this bonus dollar conversion.

For more information about Ultimate points, please go to the following link:

That almost sounds like Bet21 is somehow a spin-off of Ultimate Bet. Anybody know the relationship between the two? Yeah, it is a little bit confusing.

    Duplicate info...

Yeah, I went to register at Bet21 last night. Said my ID was already in use. Was able to login with my UB ID fine. Gave Ken referral credit when I set up my UB ID. Gotta support this site with all the great info!

    bet21/UB

You certainly did. It was a great question then, and it continues to be a great question now.
Competing entities would expand the online BJT market much more efficiently, particularly if drawing from a separate pool of online Poker players. I believe that it was reasonable to assume that all the initial efforts (beta testing, hype on bet21.com, etc.) were in support of the future launch of a separate web-site offering elimination BJT. Until you asked the question.
Nothing wrong with UB/ Bet21.com, by the way. Beats playing poker online where I am definitely the "fish".

I have been playing on Bet21 using my UB account. The tourneys (BJ for certain and I believe poker as well) are connected. I.E. They use the same player pool between the two sites. I think it's helpful in filling sit n go's and other tourneys faster.

My pending bonus points from UB showed up when I logged in on Bet21. And unlike UB, I actually convert them when I play BJ. I personally like how they are doing it. My .02.

Let me make sure I understand what you are saying. You are logging in on Bet21 using your UltimateBet login and are able to convert your bonus by playing on Bet21 instead of UltimateBet?

If that is true, it would be great since I haven't figured out yet any way to convert my bonus on UltimateBet without playing poker.

On a side note, can you use your bonus to enter the poker tourneys to shoot for an Aruba entry or do you have to get them converted before you can use them for buyins?

    The more general question is:

Do all the benefits to using bet21 that Hollywood Dave mentioned come from simply using the site, or do some of them require you to open a new account. (E.g., I would assume I'd need to do that in order to get my free copy of Kenny E's book, but what about other promotions like 'win a trip to St Kitts')

Similarly, can we pass the referral credit to our host simply by using the appropriate link to download the software, or does that too (as I would expect) require the creation of a new account?

I'd have happily waited a couple of weeks and signed up via Bet21, rather than UltimateBet, if I'd been forewarned about any such issues.
