Just found this, so thought I'd try out the Event Calendar, even though there is only one other forum member who might possibly be interested.:)

It's nice to see a non-American event on the calendar. Thanks!
And when I get home, I'll be working on that '%pound;' that shows up on the details page.

    Hey! -- Canada isn't part of the U.S -- yet ;)

I had Canada in mind. I should perhaps have said "non-North-American". ;)

A combination of miserable weather and a Tube strike nearly caused me to stay at home. Glad I didn't, as I won the tournament!

Congrats! I'm guessing an extra £1,000 in your pocket covered the weather and inconvenience nicely. :)

Thanks. Updating the calendar obviously brings good karma; I'll be sure to do it for future events.:)

    Thanks PlayHunter, Noman.

Andy is still around (see above), but I'm afraid I don't know how to contact Reachy, and he stopped visiting the forum a long, long time ago.

What we need is a massive tournament in the UK to revive everyone's flagging interest. Not much chance of that, though!:(
