In the wake of the baseball and rugby posts, I've found myself wasting any amount of time browsing YouTube, looking for half-remembered sporting incidents. I unearthed a few classics I thought you might enjoy -
World Rally Championship
Marcus Gronholm is at least as entertaining when being interviewed as when driving. Here he surpasses himself with his graphic description, complete with hand gesture, of the terrible fate which befell his co-driver, Timo Rautiainen. (And apparently it turned out to have been a metal rod, not a stone.

Footb...oh alright, soccer!
For years I've remembered seeing a 'wonder-goal' on TV when I was a kid, and wondered why it never gets shown on any of the compilation packages that are endlessly broadcast. To the point where I thought it might be something I had dreamt up. But no, here it is. Not quite as stunning as I remembered it, but maybe that's because I know what's coming. Andy should be pleased as this features his team, Bolton Wanderers. (Apologies for the music; strange people in Bolton.

And from the sublime to the truly ridiculous, a much more recent incident that may show why Andy supports Bolton rather than his home town of Bury.:joker: This one does get shown over here a lot, but I assume it's fame hasn't crossed the Atlantic with the Beckhams.
