Not sure where to properly post this, but this is one of the more popular threads so I will put it here. Michigan legalized online gambling a few weeks ago. There are some very good deals for opening an account, with one-time play-throughs. You don't have to be a Michigan resident, just need to be located in Michigan when you play. Worth a quick trip to Michigan if you are reasonably close. You should make around $500 in an hour or two. I have done it for myself, wife, family members and some friends already. The best ones I have found are Betrivers ($250 free money playing blackjack, don't even have to play your own money) Wynn ($250 free money - have to bet it on slots, don't have to play your own money) and Draftkings ($1oo free money - blackjack, don't have to play your own money). You need to deposit money with them through a checking account - I used my debit card. totally legit, I have received my checks and online deposits back from all of them. Your money will be tied up for a week or so. If you do the Draftkings account, I do have a link that will give me a free bet, so would appreciate anyone using it https://sportsbook.draftkings.com/r/sb/chriskidney/US-MI-SB
My state-specific sites are primarily geared to slot players, since that's the main market. But all these sites do have table games, and as you note, the bonus offers can be a good deal. Here's my New Jersey site. So when my MI site launches, I of course appreciate anyone who opens an account after clicking through from there. And for anyone who wants a DraftKings account, by all means use Jonny21's link above.
Yes, playing on your cellphone in Michigan works. The app does a location search before letting you play
These are usually open ended deals for first time depositors. In New Jersey, they actually got a lot better after the first year or so. I don’t know if that will be true in Michigan. The major players in the market now have a lot of data on what worked other places. The launch in MI has been really fast and popular so far.
When opening an online account what kind of documents do you have to provide. Do they need copies of your drivers license or just the info from it?
I can't comment on any specifics relating to the US states that are opening up, but a general thing to watch out for in the online casino world is that it may not be until you attempt to make a withdrawal that you are faced with a request for documentation. Sometimes they will even allow some initial withdrawals before eventually requiring you to prove your identity.
After the usual predictable delays, my Michigan online casino site is launched, although details on the bonuses available are still being added. If you're planning on playing at any of these places, I'd appreciate a click-through from my site when you are ready to register. Here's the link: Michigan-Online-Casinos.com Thanks! As typical in the US, you must be physically present in Michigan to wager.
I've had a chance to look at the new account bonuses for the casinos in Michigan, and they are definitely strong. BetRivers matches your first deposit up to $250. The key here is that they require only a 1X playthrough before the funds are yours to keep. That's rare. BetMGM has $25 freeplay just for registering an account. Then they match your first deposit up to $1000. Golden Nugget also matches your deposit up to $1000. If you are a sports bettor, the risk-free bet of up to $500 at William Hill is pretty nice. Lose the bet? Get free bets in an equal amount. If you are new to this process, PLEASE read the terms so you won't be surprised. Yes, these are good deals, but there are always lots of details in the terms and conditions. Read them before you make a deposit. Oftentimes, you'll need to apply a promotion before the deposit. Also, know that most places count blackjack at one fourth the wagering as the same amount on slots for purposes of completing the required wagers. Even so, blackjack and table games probably still give you the best chance of ending up with a profit. But hey, if you enjoy slots, take a good swing at the fences on their dime. And these casinos love slot players, so your future offers might be better that way. If you ever have questions about where you stand with the wagering requirements, contact customer support at the casino. Would I play these if I were in Michigan? You betcha! If you are interested, please visit the casinos from my site at https://www.Michigan-Online-Casinos.com. To be clear, I earn a commission on new players generated from my links. But those of you who know me also know that I won't promote something I don't fully endorse. Last of all, remember that these casinos are ONLY available to people physically located inside Michigan. You don't have to reside there, but you do have to be there. If you're in New Jersey, visit my NJ site in my signature instead.
Draftkings has an amazing, promo this weekend. Bet $20,000 on their blackjack game ( good rules, 6 decks, stand on A6) and you get $2,000 in casino credits. The good kind of credits, where if you win a $5 bet, your account is credited $10.
I have tried signing up for an account at Betrivers. Everything went well until I tried to make a deposit using online banking. I found out my bank does not participate with online transfers based on sign in credentials. Now Betrivers wants me to upload my drivers license and a photo of me holding my drivers license. I did that and it now says its in review for the last 5 days. Anybody else having problems with banking at Betrivers. The web site says several ways to deposit. I can see only two online banking and wire transfers. Any help appreciated.
Sorry to hear you are having this problem. Hope it has been resolved. Did you try using a debit card?
The promotional deals have been changing, so do your dd before opening accounts. Find out playthrough requirements and other bonuses included in the opening package.
Yes, the deals are changing. On my list above, I just edited the William Hill risk-free bet which was $2,021 down to a $500 risk-free bet. That change takes effect tomorrow May 1st.
