GOlden Acorn and Yuma - October

[RKuczek]

the $10,000 monthly at Golden Acorn (Campo, CA) is going to be Saturday, 14 October - which is the second Saturday of the month - instead of the first Saturday - they didn't post the tourney on their website - so I called - found out about the date change then - nice tourney - but no wonder they can't get more players -

the Yuma monthly tourney at Paradise Casinos is back up to $5,000 guaranteed - snowbirds are coming back - starts at 5:00 AZ time - but is in the California Casino

2 casinos in yuma?

I'm fairly new to these parts, and went through Yuma last month(on the way to the GA tourney). I did notice one-are they on the same property splitting the state line?

Yes -

paradise casinos is right on the AZ/CA state line - the two casinos are about 12 feet apart - you use the winterhaven exit to get there (first exit in california) - follow the signs

Golden Acorn is about two hours west of Yuma - right off the freeway -
