Good reference strategy books

    I am primarily a recreational player looking for suggestions for good books to improve my counting and tourney play.

    Also are there any bj tourneys in Florida?

    For tournament play, you should have three books, two of which are mine. :)
    Stanford Wong's Casino Tournament Strategy
    Ken Smith's ebooks: How to Win More Blackjack Tournaments, and Volume II: How to Win Even More Blackjack Tournaments
    (or get both here.)

    For regular counting, there are lots of good choices, but here are a couple of my favorites:
    Blackjack Bluebook II, by Fred Renzey (a good overall introduction).
    Knock Out Blackjack, by Olaf Vancura and Ken Fuchs (a solid unbalanced counting system).

    As for Florida tournaments, The Hard Rock in Tampa has had a handful of events over the last few years, but nothing is listed at the moment.

    have all three strategy books... have come in 1st at goldstrike once,1st at samstown tunica once ....sometime 4,5, 6, 7th ... a lot of 0,0,0,0.....so ....it takes a lot of luck
