Tonight I made Final Table in $25,000 Grand Casino "I like Big Bucks" tournament ($10,000 for 1st place). Same place I won 1st place ($10,000) in May. With 5 hands left I was in 2nd place, $10 behind leader. He was getting his splits and double downs in the last few hands, & I wasn't!! I doubled down, and was all in on 2nd to last hand. Dealer showing 6, but she made her hand to knock me out. Finished 5th place, for little over $2200.
Congrats on your 2nd final table in a row there. That is an accomplishment in itself. I either didn't see or recognize you there. (I left right after the wildcard drawing) Seems strange being only one seat separated us there at the previous final table. Hope your success continues. Billy C
In semifinals; I had one chip left with 10 or 12 hands to go, but turned it around and won table. In finals, my ego ( wanting 1st only) got the best of me with a few hands to go, and I played too aggressively.
Hi Doc. It was a pleasure visiting with you at the recent Beau tournament. Looks like you've been busy since then! Are you going to be at the Beau event next week to try to keep your roll going?
Plan to be at the Hard Rock tournament in Biloxi on Dec 14/15th. Also, I plan to play tournament at Running Aces on Dec 13th, the day before I leave for Biloxi.
