    Thanks

Thanks Barney. I'm sure we'll have a ball just like on the last cruise. Even having the ship crash couldn't dampen my spirits. I do plan on accumulating a few TBT points but will give you a chance to catch up when I see you in Laughlin next month. lol Hopefully you can save up your pennies and go on the next one.

Blackjack cruise IV - January 08'

The plans have been in the works for two cruises per year as I posted about four months back. Our next cruise will be January 26th - 30th, 2008.

I decided to try a winter cruise and make it more inviting to players from up north and give them an excuse to leave the cold for some blackjack tournaments and a nice Caribbean cruise as well.

Funny, the winter cruises I would have thought would be higher priced for several reasons, not during hurricane season, people wanting to get away from the cold, I'm told December - March is the peak season in Mexico.

<O:pBut I was pleasantly surprised to find that the winter cruise will actually cost less.

<O:pI also planned the cruise the week before the Super Bowl so we won't miss it or any playoff games.

The July cruise will offer just one Tournament Blackjack Tour (TBT) and one regular tournament for the main events. I am looking at hosting both the the January main events as TBT tournaments.

    What about WSOB?

Rick--This year we were on a cruise during this last week in January and we missed the WSOB in Vegas. Do you know anything about the WSOB for next year? Dates? Hate to miss it again.

    Same as this one!

There is a reason behind going on the same cruise back to back. I signed with a casino that is willing to send 24 players on this cruise as satellite events they are planning starting soon. This same casino has also signed to host three TBJPA/TBT events in the future (1 this year and two for next year). I will be making an annoucement when I get back from the cruise to what and where this casino is, I can't go public at this time.

Also I have a possible three other casinos interested in sending 2 to 8 people from each (if the deal works out).

So anyway I had to lock down a good cruise at a good price leaving from a port not to far away from any of the casinos in question and the New Orleans Fantasy cruise just seemed the best for everybody.

How nice will the January cruise be if we can get up to 48 players before ever signing up any of the regular players.

This current cruise will have about 28 players total. By working with the casinos we can try to get three times the players as cruises in the past.
