2009 wasn't exactly a good year for blackjack tournaments. Events became scarce, although it looks like 2010 may be slightly better. Still, there are pockets of the US where you can still find events, like the Northwest. How many events did you play last year? Count all of them, mini-tournaments and majors.
2009 Tournaments Not too big of response!!! I played in 260 events with a net of 4663.00. Not too bad for missing all of December and the last week of November. Longhorn was the most played with 116 entries. Living in Vegas there are many small weekly events and I play 4-5 a week. 1400.00 is the largest 1st place prize. I play very little cash games so I do not get to play in the big events, except for Hilton & Golden Nugget.
