The Feds have dropped their suit against the Kewadin Tribe for building 90% of their new Ignace casino hotel on Non Gaming property.
The events surrounding this situation called for only operating the hotel for some 6 months and then some 6 months later a temporary tent like structure was built to house gaming and then... finally getting approval in 2007 from a federal judge to allow a temporary move to the permament casino while legal wranglings were going on. This week the Feds dropped the appeal process.

The view from this casino hotel has to be one of the best out there, simply spectacular. I think Toolman will even agree to that.
