Hello fellow players. I just played my first tournament a few days ago. I'm pretty sure the casino organizing it is the only one making tournaments where I live, so I would like your suggestions and strategy for a tournament with the following rules:

    - 20 hands.
    - every player starts with 40 chips.
    - player on the button bets last (not first).
    - double for less non-existent.
    - blackjack pays even money.
    - no upper limit on bets (all-in always allowed), lower limit of 3 chips.

Thanks in advance to everybody. Especially to Mr. Smith for inspiration, this site and sharing all his experience.

Hi and welcome! You should read Ken's tournament strategy articles at blackjackinfo.com for general tournament strategy ideas and then read his e-books. Then you can think about how those ideas might apply to the tournament you're describing. In general, though, with no max bet and even money blackjacks, you can afford to play conservatively and to make your move late in the round, if needed.

hehehe that's funny of you to say 'cause that's exactly how I played and made it to the last hand. I just posted in the strategy forum the exact situation :).
