I need directions: Can anyone give me the fastest route from Memhis TN to Gulfport MS. I'm heading down that way after the first of the year.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all.

    Thanks,

I would take I-55 south to I-10 east. It is the fastest route. If you are in Tunica, take hwy 304 east to I-55. Hwy 304 is the road Sam's Town is on.

    Hi pokernut,
Thanks for the info. I'm heading for Florida and planning to stop at Gulfport for the night.
Then on the Jan 20 I plan on comming straight back to Tunica for the Bally's Tournament.
    Hope to see you there.

If you are interested in casinos when you get to the Gulf coast, there are many more & better ones in Biloxi which is about 30 minutes east of Gulfport. The President is one of the smaller ones, but really nice. I have done really wide spreads and never had any heat. The buffet there is the best on the strip. :)

    Biloxi

    Hi Springbac,
Thanks for the info. I'll try to get a room there!
Nice try today, I thought you might win the tournament. Then we would call you the come back kid. Well almost. Congrats on finishing in the money.

    Biloxi, Ms Casinos

tgun, I just remembered Treasure Bay casino very close to the President. It also is small & is not a big hotel. It does have the best gourmet restaurant in town. I believe it is called the Captian's Quarters or something like that. I like the Bay because they always have plenty of tables open so the tables are not crowded as they are sometimes at the President. There is a BJ tournament at @ early in the week with an approx $10 entry fee. It is table progression. They usually had 80-100 for the evenings when I was there last Feb. I plan to spend Feb & March there this year. It is a really nice town with great people who appreciate the tourist business since they have little else except for the Air Force base & the fishing industry. I do not know what the hurricanes did to their coast line. Have fun & I will see you at Bally's Tunica on 1/20/05.

    Hi Springbac,
Thanks for the additional info. It sounds so good I might have to stop there on the back from Florida also. Look forward to seeing you at Ballys.
