Warning about Trop tournaments

I recently asked some questions about a $100k baccarat tournament at the
Trop. It turned out that there were 36 spots in the semi-finals, 30 of which
were filled by players the Trop wanted in the semis, and only six by players
who started at the "beginning" of the tournament. I don't know if the bj
tournament has that kind of format, but anyone interested should make sure
that they know exactly what the format is before participating.

Promo Chips

The Tropicana promo chips used for their tournament prize funds have historically been play till you lose with restrictions, ie; no carnival games, no offsetting bets and even money wagers only. They cannot be colored down and may be large denomination only.
