    I think the article said he won the first tournament, but you are probably right, there may have been other millionaires made prior to the LVH tournaments. Obviously he played skillfully but he did get lucky at the right time too.

    Looks like Henry Tamburin got this one wrong in his article. The first LVH MDBJT winner was Lucky Eddie Rhodes, whose prior wins were already legendary.
