Nice pick! Vikings played great between the 20's, but inside the red zone they sucked! that is a shame to hold the ball almost twice as long as the other team and lose the game. O'well it happens, sorry thought the total was the way to go tonight.

In the RED! Last minute news from Houston made me SURE this game was a winner. I had it circle as a 3* even before, but heard Houston was going to try a lot of new trick plays just to try and keep their streak of not being shut out at home alive. They weren't even hoping to win, only to score against Miami tonight. Well they did more then score they covered the +30 point line the odds makers give them, final score 38 - 13 (only 25 point win by Miami) and a loser for me. From + 1,553 to - 97 now! Southern Miss vs Houston Southern Miss was lucky to get out of that game with a win. For about 10 minutes in the first quarter it looked like they might beat the spread, but it all went downhill after that. It took a comeback and overtime to deliver a W. My alma mater has never been known to run up the score much, even when they dominate the game. I'd be leery of giving up 17 pts against any opponent. Having said all that, man, what a great game that was to watch! I was there enjoying all the twists and turns, and there were many. Last of all, someone recently asked me if Rick's picks are endorsed by this site. Nope, they're Rick's alone, so caveat emptor. I have to admit his total is starting to look pretty good though!

Nice day.....NOT! This weekend was not good for me, yesterday I was winning most of my games at halftime. I had a small poker tournament I was run and had to leave it wasn't until I got home did I find out I went 1 -8 in football for Sunday...OUCH! That is -2,610, lowering my total to +4,574.
