I have signed up for a roulette tournament next month and wondered if anybody here has played in one and has any advice to give.

This game has a 5.26 disadvantage to all bets made. The best plan in this kind of tournament is to bet a little as you can for as long as you possibly can. If you happen to get a lead on players who are betting before you on the last roll or 2 ,matching their bets will be a sure way to stay ahead. If you do fall behind you will need bets that have big payouts and none that the player who is ahead of you has bet.

    Thanks Joep

I am thinking of making the min bets and simultaneously betting the line bets of say red and black. The house advantage is only 2.78% as this European Roulette has only one 0. I would do this throughout until the last round where I know I have to make a large bet. How big should this last bet be?
