I should have mentioned that Wisconsin was VERY well represented in this event, too. The 1st place winner was Ronnie Tr. (shorter fellow with styled moustache) and third place was garnered by Stu M. (lankier guy with trimmed beard). Both of these guys are familiar to tourney regulars that have played in the midwest in recent years.
The reason I left them out of my initial post is because I don't know if either/or are BJT members. At any rate, they're both good fellas and deserving of congratulations for their fine accomplishments.
Great job by my home state guys Ronnie and Stu!

You got that wrong, James. Ronnie Tr. and Stu M. are both definitely Packers, Badgers AND all other cheese head connections.

 

I stand corrected, Billy. Truly an error of omission. Was zeroed in on Jim with that comment. I well know you're a proud cheese head, and right behind the Saints (The REAL 2019 NFC champs, ....at the least)...., I'm a long time Arkansas based Packers fan, who lost a hero this week. R.I.P. Bart Starr

 

Yes sir. Even though I never had the pleasure of meeting Bart Starr, I know that the general consensus is that he was even a better person than an athlete and that is the kind of character we should all strive for.

Thanks for the update. I thought I could do a better job defending my last years' finish in that tournament, but I could not get past multiple quarterfinals (damn rebuys). Congrats to Jim, and also Stu. Also to you Billy, for doing as well as you did.

 

Thanks Doc. I have developed a bad habit of sailing into the semis and crashing and burning there. It's happened in (I think) the last 4 events I've played in. Of course, they were all tournaments where the semis paid nothing.
