Colors are changing, frost is coming and soon snow will cover the U.P..

Next weekend will be the last BIG Tourney in the U.P. before next year.

Anyone else making the trip?

MonkeySystem and Wife?

Toolman?

BJ Sweetie?

We have a group of 6 headed that way on Friday.

No St. Ignace for me

Dan:

I left 1 1/2 days early the last time. Not one of my better experiences. Won't be repeating the same mistake anytime soon. If they don't bring the first place prize up to where it was last year, I question if an 8 hour drive is worth the effort. But I know this is your favorite tournament so show them what a tournament player is all about. Best of luck to you. :D

Less than last year

It was $15,000 last year. This year they lowered the entry fee by $25 and reduced the prize structure across the board by a total of $5,000.

Got It While the Getting was Good! (or better)

Toolman is correct the prize pool went from 35K to 30K and first place was lowered to 12K from 15K. I guess I got my first place win while the getting was good. 15K was a good win but I won't turn down 12K next weekend either. :D

Monkey, you in?

Yup, I'm all-in!

Do you have the address of the table games director for getting permission to record the final table?

Monkey,

Already talked with her. They were going to review it with marketing and we should find out when we get there. Of course, we may both be busy at the final table with other things!

Do I need to do anything?

Or will they give us both permission to do that?

Of course it's all just on the off chance we won't both be playing! :gun:
