Kevin B. (ermgerm) who was the creator of the WSOB TV tournaments is no longer at GSN. Kevin was the person that pushed for TV blackjack tournaments at a time when poker tournaments were seen on almost every channel. His concept allow several of us a chance to play for some of the biggest blackjack tournament prize pools ever offered with guarantees to all that played in them. Kevin thanks for everything you did for the blackjack community.

Hello! Thanks, Rick...and Rick...and those of you who have sent me personal messages. I spent nearly seven years at GSN and the World Series of Blackjack is one of my fondest memories and accomplishments. Meeting and working with so many of you was a real pleasure. Despite some success at GSN, Tournament Blackjack on television remains unproven and it's an uphill road keeping it on tv. While I still feel the game itself offers compelling drama and we did a great job of exploiting that on the World Series, the dynamics of Blackjack and Poker are so different...especially from the casinos perspective...that I fear we'll see fewer tournaments...and almost none on television. And the infighting that went on here and elsewhere really damaged the cause. It's exceedingly difficult to launch any new business. It's virtually impossible when you seek to divide the very base that supports it. I'm moving on to other things...launching a production company that will still be involved with GSN, just in a different capacity. And I'll be consulting on High Stakes Poker which shoots its next season at the end of December. Happy, safe, and healthy holidays to each of you.
