Well I have the final seatings for the first two finals of the night.

Table A:

1. Britt
2. Roy Vest
3. Fred (fgk)
4. Rick (TXtourplayer) - Yep, I actual advanced...lol
5. Rick
6. Tom L.

Table B:

1.Previn M.
2. Walt H.
3. Darrell (Rock & Roll) Arnold
4. Kennye
5. Dan Mc.
6. Jerry

Both tables had great finishes, on table B, Darrell splits Ace's on the final hand FOUR TIMES with max's bets to win and advance to the WSOB show when the dealer busted!

While table A: finished with me finally busting my bad luck, thats right I won and will be on the WSOB the year.

Tonight I'll have cheese and REAL wine...LOL.

They have one more $1,025 event going on tonight.

They also are hosting a special $2,550 event tonight as well (invited players only).

I'll report back on who win's on all the late tables later.

Good Job!

Congratulations and Way To Go, Rick! Best of luck to you in the main event, go kick some butt. :whip:

That’s great!

congratulations Tex.

Did they pass out ropes at “table A” so everyone can hang them selves for having to listen to "FGK" rattle on the whole time?

A couple of thoughts

The 1,000 satellites were just awsome. The players that were there and whom I met were incredibly nice and friendly.

Take this table:

Ken Einiger, Rock-n-roll Darryl, Dave Matthews, Adrianna Jade (Vera), Ace Donnavan and Previn Mankodi. There was one other player who I wasn't familiar with. This was a 1st round satellite!

Now for those unfamiliar with those players, using the AKK Tornament Player Rankings - #'s 5, (unknown - winner of UBT title), 27, 18, 34 & 14. So 5 of 7 in the top 35!

Another table had:
Ken Smith - 15
BJ Sweetie
Blair Rodman - 8
Harry Fox - 25
John Ressman - 17
2 other players that I did not know!

At my first table (2500)
HD - 19
Joe Pane - 35
Me - 999999999999999 :joker:

It was really great to meet players from BJT.com! Watching several tables I personally thought the play was better than what I saw on the past season of TV!

I had a great time and learned lots! For someone new to the game like me it was a fantastic experience. I felt like the waterboy who gets to go to the SuperBowl!

I would hope that the tourney organizers saw the demand that was there and would do more events like this in the future and not just wait until next year.

For BJT.com members that I know are in the WSOB:

Ken Smith
TXTourplayer
Hollywood Dave

Great Job boys - kick some butt this week and don't forget to keep us updated!

Later all - time to hit the sack before I goo tooooo sleeeppppppp!
