The World Series of Poker is down to nine players, with Jamie Gold leading. They've just started playing the final table, which is available on pay-per-view for $24.95. By the way, every player left in the event wins more than one million dollars.
Dan Nassif is out in 9th place, for a win of $1,566,858. Jamie Gold flopped a set of deuces, which held up against Nassif's Ace-King.
6th place finisher Richard Lee, $2,803,851. Lee was the 2nd biggest stack behind Jamie Gold, when he went all-in preflop with JJ. Unfortunately for Lee, Gold had QQ and it held up, adding the $26M pot to the already huge stack in front of Jamie Gold.
Jamie Gold is the 2006 World Series of Poker Champion, collecting $12 Million. Paul Wasicka took 2nd place for $6,102,499.
Well, maybe Jamie Gold isn't collecting $12 Million. http://www.nvtoday.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=83&Itemid=33
