Some other updates: GSN's 'Celebrity Blackjack' starts up this Monday, July 5th, starring yours truly & for those of you who want a piece of me on the felt, I'm about 99% certain to be at the Hilton next weekend for the MD III qualifier! That is, if this new management team doesn't bar me from the tournament like the Stardust did 2 months ago... that damn Griffin.
I don't think so, Dave Hollywood, unless the Hilton changed dates the July qualifier it isn't until the 29th of July - 1st of August. I'll be watch you tonight and next Monday. See you in August.
REALLY... well, there goes my master plan. I just did some checking & now realize the LV Hilton website is pretty innaccurate. It says the monthly qualifiers take place on the second weekend of each month, and after finding out that the 1-800 listed on the site for more tourney info is in fact disconnected (and being transferred around the hotel 10 times when i called the reservation line) -- I got to speak to someone who gave me the new dates. Man, these Resorts International people really have no idea how to run a casino! So the moral is, before making travel plans, always consult Rick! (TXtourplayer) -hollywood dave.
