Update Details

Added prize details (Talk about top heavy. The winner gets a seat in the WSOB (only 40 seats to be awarded nationwide), VIP treatment during week of the shoot, free hotel and meals. Don't know about air fair. Then, the winner of the WSOB will walk away with over $500,000. A drawback is that equity is rather poor. $50,400 will be paid in entry fees for each satellite. Out of that, $25,000 goes into the $1,000,000 prize pool for the WSOB. The remaining $25,400 goes to "production costs" - this according to information I got from talking to the HO- CHUNK tournament people.).
