Added details (All Harrah's properties are able to send a specific number 
of entrants to the Aug 13-16th tournament.  Harrah's Reno, 
and Tahoe are having Invitation only tournaments to get 
thier entries.  Phoenox is taking some combination of 
weekly tournament winners based on thier web.  Kansas is 
holding a open $100 tournament with 5 people winning seats 
and trips for 2 to the Caesars Tournament.  Check your 
local property to determine how they will fill thier quota 
if at all. 

27 FEB 06 UPDATE;

Property winners are provided with airfare and 3 nights at 
Caesars.  Participants must register the night of 13 AUG.  
There will be approximately 300 participants.  

Tournament play will consist of 3 preliminary rounds (100 
players per round, 1 semi-final round and the final 
round.  All players will play in 1 preliminary round 
consisting of 18 hands.  The top 30 players with the 
highest scores (10 from each round) will advance to the 
semi-final round.  A wild card drawing will be executed 
for 6 additional players to the semi-final round.  In the 
semi-final round, the top scorer from each table will 
advance to the final round.  Semi final round will consist 
of 36 players at 6 tables.  The final round will consist 
of 6 players.

A winning blackjack pays 5 to 1, winning 5 card hand pays 
10 to 1 (!).  Players can not take even money and must 
take insurance to protect their hands.

The minimum bet is $100 and the maximum bet is $5,000. 

All rounds will consist of 18 hands from a 10 deck shoe, 
face up.  Shoe rules apply - slplit any pair up to 4 
times, players may double down on any two cards (before 
and after split), Aces may be split 4 times, players may 
only receive one hit card per ace.  

Each player will have 10 seconds to make their bet - 
otherwise the bet will be $100.  At the end of 17 hands of 
completion, the dollar amount for each player will be 
tallied and announced afterwhich, the game will proceed 
with the 18th and final hand in the session.  The 18th 
hand will be a secret bet, in writing, and may not exceed 
$5,000.).

will be paid out at $50,000 per year for 20 years or lump 
sum option can be taken per Nevada Gaming Commission
