Casino Niagara

Casino Niagara, in Niagara Falls, Canada, has announced its "Masters of Blackjack" tournament series. The qualifying rounds are July 19, September 24, November 19 and January 25. Entry is $125 Canadian or $95 US. The top three finishers, in each qualifier, are entered in the $150,000 CDN championship round.

The championship round will be held on March 18, 2005. This past year the entry to the championship round was $1,000 CDN or $750 US.

There was another qualifying round on May 19, but I did not know about this one. Apparently these tournaments alway sell-out so there was no urgency to contact prior players (I competed this past November, January and March).

Nonetheless, it is a decent one day tournament for those proximate to this Canadian border town.

Fathermurph,

Would you post any information about the format of the qualifying tournaments and the prizes.

I see from your post that the top three advance on to the yearly big one but I would also think that there is a cash prize too.

Thanks,
Pill

The final round of the qualifying tournaments also include a first prize of $10k Canadian and other assorted smaller cash prize for all 7 finalists.
