Congratulations Leftnut

I heard Leftnut made the finals at the Golden Nugget today. The last hand killed him, but he still pulled down 5th place and $3,500. Nice little weekend trip to Las Vegas, way to go Brian, wish I could have been there to cheer you on my friend.

Nice meeting you and congrats - my last hand was the last hand of the semi-finals when I didn't get paid on my double down. Of course the guy that got wild-carded onto my table is the one that won!

Let me add my congrats and condolences. Tough to get there, tougher
to win. My guess(99% sure) is you were the best player at the finals.

Placing Percentage?

So, LeftNut what percentage of limited amount of tourneys you've played, have you "placed" in? Has to be very high!
You're either smarter or luckier than me and I fear it's both.

Thanks so much, everyone. I'm stunned, not only that I got that far in this one, but that so many offered congrats even though I stunk on the final table. Geez, what a tough field of players at this one. I kept waiting to get a table with less-than-proficient players but it didn't happen. Damn near everyone had an excellent grasp of the game! Even found myself facing our own BJT.com Guru Extraordinaire SYama at the semi-final table - and it was "one advance" in that round. Tell you what - that'll make your sphincter clench up mighty hard!!! :laugh:

BillyC asked about my record so far. Somewhat limited, still handicapped by a home location in the BJT Wasteland of America. Let's see - Can't count the UBT TV final table, won that seat online. I think that leaves 8 live events, 3 final tables. The 8 includes 4 at St. Ignace, where I can't seem to get anywhere!

BTW, Billy, I am NOT smarter than you or anyone else here, so it's gotta be Dumb Luck. :D
