La Liga team Athletic Bilbao have taken part in a charity football match against 200 local children, who were all on the pitch at the same time.

The match was held as a farewell to winger Joseba Etxeberria, who spent 15 years playing for the club. Dubbed 'the impossible game' it was meant to see two teams of 100 Basque kids each take to the pitch against the pros for one half.

But despite taking an early lead, the youngsters were unable to capitalise on their numerical advantage and in the second half resorted to throwing on all 200 players.

I love the fact that the pros didn't just run around and let the kids win, but instead treated it as a real contest. I think the kids should have used more goalkeepers!
