The Ho Chunk casino in Wisconsin was hosting 10 to 12 monthly tournaments per year for the last several years. All of a sudden, they only had one in 2008 and I don't see any more scheduled for 2008. Does anyone know why the abrupt change from past years? Any other comments?

The last monthly tourney they had was in April. We were told that they have a new guy in charge and he is not in favor of blackjack tourney's. The casino wants to focus more on poker tourney's. They are going to continue the weekly mini-blackjack tourney's on Tuesday nights, but nothing else is planned for the future.
Something Coming Up
One of their "tournament girls" recently told me that they do have a bigger event coming up (August, I think). As soon as I have accurate info about it, I will post same!

P.S. Seems like first place is some kind of "special edition" Harley. I'd like to see toolman 1 on that baby.

Me too. Had a Harley "Bad Boy" but sold it several years ago. If I could win a Harley at the Ho Chunk I'd ride it once - for old times sake - then sell it.
